If your referral has not used your link, no problem - just let us know and we're happy to add.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing! If you are new to indoor cycling padded shorts are recommended.
To maximize your workout, cycling shoes with clip in cleats are required. Our bikes support both Shimano SPD and Look Delta cleats. If you don’t have your own, we rent Shimano cycling shoes for $3.00 per class. We also sell cycling shoes at the studio.
Our pedals are NOT COMPATIBLE with the newer Look KEO design or Shimano SPD-SL road cleats. If you are not sure what you have, just ask!
For your safety, foot coverings with sticky bottoms (such asToe Sox) are required for REVformer: Lagree Fitness classes and are available for purchase at the studio.
How do I become a member?
Our classes are open to everyone and are offered as pay-per-class. Just create an account, purchase a class or series of classes and reserve a spot. There is no membership or initiation fee.
Can I host a private or corporate event?
Absolutely. Revelry is a great place for corporate team building events, girls’ night out, triathalon training or fundraisers. With our sound and video system we can personalize just about everything. Please email us at email@example.com and we will be happy to see how we can create a special event personalized for you and your group.
What is Lagree Fitness?
Referred to by some as "pilates on steroids" this is a full body work out created by Sebastien Lagree. Taught in a small class size, you will get lots of personalized attention as you sweat through one of the best calorie scorching, body conditioning workouts in town. Taught on the megaformer, you will get everything you need in a low-impact work out. In just 45 minutes you'll improve strength, body composition, flexibility/balance and cardio fitess.
A Lagree Fitness BASICS class is STRONGLY recommended if you are not familiar with the megaformer.
Grippy socks are required (no exceptions) and are available for sale at the studio.
Do you have Childcare?
YES! We have childcare on most weekday mornings. Cost is $5 per child. Space is limited so advance reservation is strongly recommended and can be found on the schedule.
Children must be over 2 years old. No food will be allowed in the child care area so please make sure your little one is well fed before your class. If this is your first time taking advantage, please come early to allow time to sign a waiver at the front desk and to get your child settled.
When should I arrive for a class?
We suggest that you plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your class. This will enable you to check in, store your gear, change your footwear, grab some water and, importantly get ready to have fun.
For indoor cycling participants, please allow for a few minutes to adjust your bike set-up and to clip in. If you need assitance with bike set-up, please ask your coach or a Revelry team member.
As a courtesy to our coaches and your fellow Revelers, please note that late arrivals may result in your not being able to join the class. We plan our classes to be focused, intense and meditative. Late arrivals disturb the groove!
Please call the studio at (650) 445-7570 if life happens and you expect to be a few minutes late.
Where can I park?
Parking near Revelry is plentiful. In addition to street parking, there are several parking structures in downtown San Mateo. The closest is a large parking structure on the corner of 2nd Avenue and El Camino Real, just one block away and is only $.50/hr (or $.25/hr on the 3-5th floors)
What is your cancellation policy?
As a courtesy to fellow Revelers and our coaches, we request that you notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend a class for which you registered. Doing so allows us to accomodate people on the wait list and help our coaches get everyone ready to rock.
If you cancel later than the 12 hour window or fail to show up for the class, we will return your class credit to your account, but we will charge you a $10.00 or $15.00 (REVformer: Lagree Fitness) late cancel/no-show fee. We appreciate your understanding.
Clients on unlimited packages who fail to show up for class and DO NOT NOTIFY the studio will be charged $25.00 for the missed class. Clients on unlimited packages may receive a waived late cancelation fee and/or a six-hour cancelation window. Please review your package's terms.
You may cancel a class online without a penalty 12 hours prior to your class. If you want to cancel your class inside the 12-hour window, you must call the studio at (650) 445-7570 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is Performance IQ? Why am I being asked for my weight when I register?
We are proud to offer Revelers the Performance IQ (PIQ) for indoor cycling classes. PIQ is a computerized system that collects information about your effort from computers on each bike. Your online account asks for your age, weight and gender. Providing PIQ with this information allows the system to more accurately calculate your individual performance statistics.
PIQ tracks a variety of data points, including cadence (RPM,) Power (Watts) and energy and enables you to monitor your efforts during the ride and compare your results over time. Results are available post-ride in your Revelry online account, and we will email your ride stats to you right after class.
Our computers are also compatible with ANT+ devices.
Please note that the video monitors are only used in REVRide and Power Hour classes, but we record and email results for every class.
And since we are all about fun, use of PIQ is completely optional! If you simply prefer to hop on, clip in and rock out, go for it!
